1. Royal Enfield :

Royal Enfield which is also known as “Bullet” is one of the popular bike among youth in Nepal. Despite being expensive we can see many youth enjoying and dreaming for it. It is one of the oldest and well known motorcycle manufacturing companies in the world. Their bikes are known for the ruggedness, power and that enthralling thump produced by them. Their products have a retro kind of a charm about them which is combined with modern day technologies and excellent craftsmanship. Bullets being one of the highly known products,the Classic range of bikes have also made significant market. These bikes are like treasures to their owners. Bajaj Pulsor is highest selling bike in Nepal. Due to its aggressive and modern design it popular among youths. Bajaj Pulsor is growing its popularity by different pulsor segment bikes which are specially targeted to youth. Bajaj Auto is the India’s second largest motorcycle company has recorded successful sales record with its Pulsar series. The motorcycles have been manufactured by the product engineering division of Bajaj Auto in association with Tokyo R&D and motorcycle designer Glynn Kerr.The successive motorcycles in this Bajaj Pulsar series includes with engine capacities of 135 cc, 150 cc, 180 cc, 200 cc, and 220 cc.

Another bike from Hero which was commercially and critically both successful. It is popular among both youth and mid aged people. It was launched before Karizma and sold at a very high good rate in India and in Nepal. This bike is also popular because of its resale value. This is in the segment of 150cc and is second most selling bike in 150cc after Pulsar. This bike is powered with four stroke, 149.2 cc, single cylinder, and air cooled engine with energized peak power output of 15.2bhp at 8500 rpm, Xtreme delivers a maximum torque of 12.80 Nm @ 6500 rpm
5. TVS Apache RTR 160/180 :
TVS Apache is a premium bike offered by TVS. Apache RTR is popular among many youth because of its reliable engine, great performance and racing dynamics. The top of the line TVS Apache 180 comes fitted with a 180cc engine. It can reach 0-60kmph in just 3.7 seconds and 0-100kmph in only 12.07seconds. TVS Apache 160 is the low end variant of this bike that replaced TVS Apache 150 and sported the Racing Throttle Response(RTR) moniker . It is powered by 160cc single cylinder engine that offers 15.2bhp of power and 13.1Nm torque

What is interesting to note about this is that the bore has been reduced compared to the earlier engine while retaining the same stroke length which explains the drop in cubic capacity. The engine also boasts lighter internal components thus reducing frictional losses and revving higher while also delivering better fuel economy.

Borrowed design from Kawasaki Eliminator and powered by pulsar engine, Avenger had many changes over the years except styling add-ons like windscreen. Avenger is an alternative to Royal Enfield for a price as well as weight. The latest version of Bajaj Avenger is powered by Pulsars 220 cc DTS-i engine that produces 19 bhp at 8400 rpm and 17.5 Nm of torque. The carbureted engine is air cooled and also oil cooled mated to 5 speed gearbox
